I work as a systemic psychotherapist and parenting consultant in private practice. I offer therapeutic services to individuals, couples, young people, parents and family members. I am accredited with the Family Therapy Association of Ireland and a registrant of the Irish Council for Psychotherapy and, as a social worker, with CORU.
I am a member of Non Violent Resistance Ireland a committee which provides information, training and support to parents and carers experiencing violent, abusive and challenging behaviours. I am also a member of the practitioners panel of Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), Yale Child Study Centre, which provides education and training for parents whose child or adolescent experiences anxiety. I am a member of an advisory committee for supporting parents with responding to self-harm, in the UCD School of Psychology.
I have experience as a Social Worker and Family Therapist on a multidisciplinary team in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. I can offer support and therapy for parents and young people who live with Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, family separations and other difficulties which impact on their day to day functioning and relationships.
I work collaboratively with clients who wish to strengthen their relationships or who seek to understand and to make sense of life experiences to improve their quality of life.
