I am a family therapist registered with the Family Therapy Association of Ireland. I am a registrant of the Irish Council for Psychotherapy and the European Association for Psychotherapy. I am a social worker registered with CORU.

I have been practising as a family therapist since 1988 and trained both as a therapist and clinical supervisor in Clanwilliam Institute, where I was CEO for over 10 years. I continue to be the director of training courses at Clanwilliam including director of a four year masters course in family therapy. I also teach clinical counselling skills in Trinity College on the Masters in Social Work Courses and run reflective practice groups for social workers in Tusla. I qualified with a PHD from Tilburg University in 2011.

I work therapeutically with individuals, couples, children, adolescents and families. My practice includes therapy, supervision, reflective practice groups, training and consultation. I have considerable experience in working with marginalised groups and my clinical practice is informed by ideas of social justice and working collaboratively with clients to create solutions that allow them to find more hopeful futures. I provide ongoing individual supervision to therapists and social workers both in person and online.

I am available for weekday and limited evening appointments.
